Samantha King, M.D.

"Why would anyone become a pediatrician?   Who wants to listen to crying babies, whining toddlers, difficult teenagers and frustrated parents?"  " I do!"

I love children.  Children, who are precious gifts from God, need loving parents, daring teacher, and dedicated physicians.  Our children are from the future.  Some feel that the future is bleak.  I disagree.  I believe that if we work together - parents, families, teachers, communities and physicians, to train, nurture and guide our children, they will each reach their capacity and grow up and become fine young men and women.  They joy and satisfaction I receive from providing comfort and guidance to children and their families has far exceeded my expectations and this joy grows with each year.

As a child I dreamed of becoming a physician.  I am thankful to my family and friends for their prayers and support during my years of training.  I received my medical degree in 1993 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1996.

I enjoy reading, cooking, and step-aerobics.  My husband and I are active members of our church and are proud parents of a son.  My husband and I are very excited about joining Fuller-Roberts Clinic and becoming contributing members of your community.
